The Story
Product Description
François Ozon writes and directs this French drama following a teenage
girl who is discovering her sexuality. The film takes place over the
course of a year, split into four different segments for each season.
Just before turning 17, student Isabelle (Marine Vacth) loses her
virginity during a summer holiday. Before long she turns to
prostitution and finds that she is excited and intrigued by the process
of going to meet a new client. Initially Isabelle manages to keep her
dealings a secret but eventually the truth comes out, much to the
consternation of her parents. Can she return to her former life as a
schoolgirl?
