The Story
1940s British drama directed by Roy Boulting. When a squad of SS stormtroopers arrives in the German village of Altdorf to garner support for the Nazi Party, Pastor Frederick Hall (Wilfrid Lawson) finds himself at odds with their promotion of National Socialism and decides to speak out against the party, a crime for which he is sent to Dachau concentration camp.
