"This series sees me throwing myself into a new challenge: going back in time to
rescue prehistoric animals from extinction and bringing them back to the
ultimate wildlife sanctuary.
Each episode revolves around a different prehistoric adventure as I head
backwards in time to save particular creatures. In the process I experience some
of Earth's most devastating extinctions and find out what caused them. I witness
what killed the mammoths, silenced the sabre tooth cats and cause the demise of
the dinosaurs.
In the Park itself I work with real animals and before the time-travelling
adventures I meet with real scientists to gather advice. Once the prehistoric
animals are released into the Prehistoric Park, their welfare becomes paramount-
we even have a full-time vet and park keeper on hand to attend to their every
